Is anyone out there?
I know from the stats on my blog, http://www.nyoatrader.com/blog that people are reading it. Based on the referring pages some of them from your site.
Comments though? I’ve got 350 posts since I started and only 44 comments, and some of those are my replies to the person leaving the comment.
Now my blog is more informational and less opinion, so folks may feel less need to comment.
Plus a number of my posts are based on information received in direct emails (where I credit the sender) about new or newly discovered issues.
But overall, I’d like the blog to be a bit more of a ‘conversation’ and less of a ’speech’.
At any rate, I’m reading yours.

I’m leaving more comments these days - it’s easier (and I’m getting lazier! :-p) than working on my OWN blog. That, and nothing really interesting has happened since President Ford died.

Keep up the good work. The hobby needs sites like yours for up to date information and news. I sense that many younger scouts are not interested in collecting patches as such. They’ll trade at an event, but are not really into making a collection of patches. Our lodge uses the collector as a ATM machine. Cranking out many issues in a given year . Trying to raise money for pet projects. The lodge also discourages trading. Certainly a dichotomy.
