Third Wahissa NOAC Patch; Issued After NOAC

Posted in Patch Collecting, SR-7B Lodges, Wahissa 118 by John E. Pannell on October 6th, 2006 at 12:19 am

Wahissa 118 has a third NOAC patch. It has the same design and shape as the other two currently on my site, but with a silver mylar (SMY) border. I am told these were issued to the contingent members, one per person, as they got on the bus to go home.

When I get good picture this will be added to my site.

    John,

Lodge 165 did a similar thing a few years back with two 2-piece sets commemorating their 2002 NOAC trip with Lodge 46. The speling of the “Lodge” name was an amalgamation of the two Lodge names “Ho Nan Ne Dowi”.

One was even a delegate issue S22/X8 (If memory serves) and the ‘regular’ set was the S21/X7.

Shinnecock you old Lodge did an after the fact NOAC Flap a few years back too with their F5 Hot Rod Lincolns Flap for the 96 NOAC.

At least Wahissa’s patch was issued ‘at’ NOAC

That should be “Spelling” not speling :-(

I vaguely remember seeing one of those “Ho Nan Ne Dowi” and not knowing for sure what the heck it was. I misssd the obvious.

I never did get a Hot Rot Lincoln flap. At the time I was being told by folks in Shinnecock that it was a tough piece. I didn’t really need it that badly, so I didn’t pursure things further.
