Possible New Feature: New Issues Announcements

Pannell on November 1st, 2006 at 7:28 am I’m considering opening up this blog to posts contributed by others, for the purpose of announcing and showing new lodge, chapter and event issues. Is there any interest in seeing such a feature here? Is there anyone interested in contributing?
Contributors would have to register before posting and posts would be subject to my approval, to screen out potential inappropriate content, before they appeared on the blog. Contributors would also be able to upload images to this blog’s server and have those same images incorporated into the main part of OAImages.com. The idea would be to copy on a national scale what Bill Mulrenin does very well on his NY OA Trader blog. It would be entirely up to the contributor what lodge(s) they wished to write about.
It would be my hope that the Blue Book editors — remember I don’t write or edit that book, just follow it! — would use this as a tool to improve upon the quality of their edits.
What say you all? If there appears to be interest in doing this, I can start allowing folks to register and contribute almost immediately.
I think this would be a great Idea. It would allow members to be able to put patch images up on your website as soon as they are issued so all can see them and be on the look for them if they need one for thier collection.
John…. Sent you an email with 27 different patch images that are not on the web site for lodge 296 if you did not get the email… please let me know.
