Yet Another Indian Affairs Segment

Posted in SR-7B Lodges, Tsoiotsi Tsogalii 70 by John E. Pannell on December 3rd, 2006 at 5:42 pm

There are several reasons the folks who write Blue Book have only published it once every two years.    One of them is to avoid having patches missed in the listings, since once published numbers are fixed.    This segment from Tsoiotsi Tsogalii lodge is a good example of the need to work this way.

The “Conclave” segment, to be tentatively numbered X11?, came out last April but I forgot about it until earlier today when I saw one worn on a vest.   It was given to those lodge 70 brothers who worked the various “Native American” events at the 2006 SR-7B conclave.

Blue Book details are below.    In order to keep everything in its proper place, I inserted this right after the Pink Teddy Bear / Pussycat, and renumbered all subsequent issues accordingly.

Issue Bdr Color/Type Bkgd Name fdl/BSA Comments
X11? BLK R RED Conclave; segment for R2
X12? NOAC06, trader; bottom to S23?, previously called X11?
X13? NOAC06, delegate / Indian Affairs; bottom to S24?, previously called X12?
X14? BLK R RED Elder; segment for R2, previously called X13?
X15? BLK R RED NOAC; segment for R2, previously called X14?

A scan will be forthcoming once I secure one.
