UNC 84 — Florida State 58
I know my usual blog readers and commenters will enjoy this… immensely. The Tarheels had yet another lopsided victory today, this time over Florida State. The Tarheels are now 14-1.
Tyler Hansbrough led the team with 25 points scored, 20 of them in the second half, and was 9 of 10 from the free throw line. Once again this was a true team effort as 11 Tarheels scored. With UCLA’s loss on Saturday, I expect UNC to be ranked number 1 when the polls come out on Monday.

"It is probable that a press which maintains an intimate touch with the business currents of the nation is likely to be more reliable than it would be if it were a stranger to these influences. After all, the chief business of the American people is business. They are profoundly concerned with buying, selling, investing and prospering in the world."

Indeed, Now that was a fine result. I missed the first half because I was watching the Philadelphia Eagles (whew!) but I heard most of the second half on the radio and watched the tail end.

We may have problems watching the start of tonight’s game–it’s on Raycom, and the local network stations are preempting the first part of it to show Dipwad sending more kids to die in the desert.
