UNC 79 — Virginia 69

Old WellI couldn’t watch tonight’s game due to a lack of tv coverage in my area so I had to settle for watching the box score on my computer as I was getting ready for work last night.

It was a less than stellar performance from the Tarheels, shooting only 44% from 2 point range, who may have been becoming a touch overconfident in their ability to win games by huge margins.   In the end, they pulled out a 76-69 victory over the Cavaliers.   The number 1 ranked  Tarheels improve their record to 15-1.

The night was made even better with an earlier loss by the University of New Jersey at Durham, aka   Duke University.     Next up for the Tarheels are two away games against Virginia Tech and the (incredibly) still undefeated Clemson.

“I couldn’t watch tonight’s game due to a lack of tv coverage in my area”… now that’s a polite way to describe it.
