Cloth Talk #21: The Merits of Scouting

Posted in Scouting Blogs and Websites by John E. Pannell on January 16th, 2007 at 1:02 am

122 merit badgesThanks to the guys at ScoutHistory.net Cloth Talk #21 is now available for downloading either through iTunes or by direct download at http://www.scouthistory.net/blog/. Remember, you do not need to have iTunes installed in order to listen to Cloth Talk.   They also have a dialup-friendly version available for those who do not have high speed internet connections.

As the Cloth Talk guys tell us:

“This episode Ben and Tim chat with Kyle McInnis—a Scout with an extremely unique patch collection. He has earned every merit badge the BSA offers, as well as 15 Eagle Palms!

…And we welcome OAImages.com Webmaster: John Pannell..”

Chris Brightwell also gives us another tip for working on the Scout History wiki… or any other part of the Wikipedia site for that matter.

Please folks, if you’re in Bob White and Tomo Chi-chi don’t take it personally.   You’ll know what I mean after you listen to me.   And if you’re in Wahissa… please tell me what you’ve issued for the past two years!    Gee, I also need someone to cut me off when I start repeating myself too much.

Just took a listen to you - you sounded pretty good to me - no mumblin’, stumblin’, bumblin’ FUMBLIN’ - that I could note. Just one thing; I know they do this through a phone interview with you, & audio compression on phones is ALWAYS suspect, BUT… did you snort some helium before this interview?!?! I think I’d of recorded it on YOUR end, run it through your computer, and slow it from 45 to 33rpm, before submitting them a final product for THEIR use! ;-)

Gee, thanks bro… There was no helium involved. Now you know why I don’t like listening to myself. ;)

Could be worse - ever heard a ‘Confederate Klingon’ before? That would be MY voice… :-o
