Special Banner on OAImages Today

Posted in OAImages News by John E. Pannell on January 18th, 2007 at 12:57 am

Here’s a little entertainment for your winter morning.

At the beginning of the year I added a new banner to the site, on a rotating basis, for the site’s 10th anniversary. Like the original site banner, the patches in this 10th anniversary banner all have something in common

Now, just a few minutes ago I added a different banner on all the lodge pages. This one will only appear today.

Our of curiosity, can anyone figure out what the patches in the banner all have in common and why I put the banner there today?  If you’re one of the few I told about this banner, please don’t respond… give others a chance to figure it out first.   The answer can be found with a little bit of creative research.

    What, no Ashie issue?

For those who couldn’t see it here’s the banner:

All the patches in it were issued in 1964, the year in which I was born. Today, January 18, was my birthday.
