Cloth Talk #22: Déjà Vu All Over Again
Thanks to the guys at ScoutHistory.net Cloth Talk #22 is now available for downloading either through iTunes or by direct download at http://www.scouthistory.net/blog/. Remember, you do not need to have iTunes installed in order to listen to Cloth Talk. They also have a dialup-friendly version available for those who do not have high speed internet connections.
As the Cloth Talk guys tell us:
“…Tim and Ben manage to bring you one of their most captivating interviews yet—with collector Kirk Doan (www.kirkdoan.com). Do you know where the Kansas City, Chiefs got their name? Have you ever heard of Cotton Farming Merit Badge? Do you know who has the largest privately held Scouting Collection in existence? Ever heard of the Tribe of Mic-O-Say? There have also been a lot of other Scouting honor societies over the years…”
Chris Brightwell also gives us another tip for working on the Scout History wiki… or any other part of the Wikipedia site for that matter. Brandon Ellis returns to tell us about upcoming Trade-O-Rees (TORs) around the country.
And just who is “Beep Beep”? ![]()
Being very biased, I love the Lodge 50 - Lodge 70 connection here (Look, Chris… Lodge numbers!
). Perhaps I need to get us all together next Summer for a barbeque.
