New (Old) Cook Crew Patch Revealed

118 X2.5This one has not yet been listed in Blue Book, but apparently has been around a while. Thanks to Daniel Graham for sending me the information and image.

I don’t know for sure where this should be placed in the ordering of issues. The numbering is a partially educated guess on my part.

The design is similar to the X0.5, issued around the American Bicentennial. The style of embroidery, clear lockstitch (visible in another scan sent to me), and fleur d’lis lead me to guess this was issued in the late 70s or early 80s. Can anyone confirm this for me?

Blue Book style information for this patch is as follows:

Issue Bdr Color/Type Bkgd Name fdl/BSA Comments
X2.5? RED R WHT RED BLK fdl; DBL Cook Crew
