2006 Holiday Fifty Miler Patches

This past holiday season Occoneechee Council held a fifty-miler, staffed by members of Occoneechee lodge. Two patches were issued bearing the name of the Council/Lodge, written simply as “Occoneechee”. The historic lodge number, 104, was also included in the design. Images of them were sent me by Greg Grimes.
As this is traditionally a council event there is some disagreement over whether these are lodge issues or not. It is my opinion the inclusion of the lodge number is prima facie evidence that these are lodge issues.
The design of both issues is identical except for the additon of the word “staff”, marking the staff issue.
Following the example of the fifty-miler patches issued by the three lodges 70, I have put these on my site as lodge 104 event issues. Blue Book information is as follows:
