BSA Licensing, Redux

Remember the discussion late last year about new BSA licensing rules and requirements?

Yesterday the list of official BSA licensees for patches, as of 2/13/2007, was shared with me.   It was surpisingly short.  Major names I had expected to be on the list were not there.  

As of this date only three companies are officially licensed by the BSA.  They are:

I have no idea what to make of this short list.   Perhaps there just hasn’t been enough time for others to complete the licensing requirements?    I don’t know.

    ….or maybe they have chosen to ignor the BSA requirements for licensing??

    I know nothing about any licenses pending, or what companies’ plans are in this matter. As such, I cannot assert what Greg has said.
