Give Me a “C”!…

“Who’s the leader of the club that’s made for you and me?”*

coosa.jpgWhile browsing eBay data Wednesday night, I saw an unusual set of events patches being offered.

In 2006 Coosa lodge designed their events patches in the letters in their lodge name.     If you collected them all, you’d be able to spell out the lodge name.   There was also a “Brotherhood arrow” running across them all, though oddly this was omitted from the “S”.     (All the patches are the same size, regardless of how they may look in the quickly spliced image here.)

LodgeCoosa lodge continued that theme with their 2007 patches, this time spelling out “LODGE”.     That was the set I saw on eBay.   Will they decide to spell out “FIFTY” in 2008?

Imagine if we tried to spell out my own lodge name, Tsoiotsi Tsogalii!   If we wanted to be original, we could spell it in Cherokee.   That would only have eight characters, and could   be done in two years.

*Who will be the first to pos the connectio between the “Mickey Mouse Club” song and OA patch collecting?     Yes, there is one. ;)

Cute, Brandon… But I had a different lodge in mind, one with eleven letters in its name. ;)

  3. Chris Brightwell Says:

Look closely at the “O” in “LODGE”, then ask yourself — What section is Coosa in?

  4. James Tarbox Says:

Yes, there will be a Fifty (as long as the LEC approves it). Yes there is a mistake on the Conclave “O”.

  5. Tim Says:

Brandon can I get you to sing that? I love it! hahahahahah!

Are you saying its a Mickey Mouse idea? Or a Disney level event. Either way its great!

Hey James can we be in a different section nect year too?

  7. Hotfoot Says:

On the 2006 NOAC “S” the Arrow is missing thanks the homage to the host site - Michigan State. Look at the “S” and remember the nickname of the team at State - Spartans. Their school colors are green and this is their logo for their athletic teams. Coosa Lodge on the patch is “ghosted out”. So when you see the S you will always remember the location of the NOAC in 2006.

    Tim,
I don’t think that the sections will be realigned anytime soon. Besides, I am actually starting to like a lot of these people in 6S.
