Lodge 331: Four More Unlisted Neckerchiefs
Michael Ryan has pointed out to me that there are “problems” with the Blue Book neckerchief listings for this lodge. He sent me images of four more neckerchiefs that have so far escaped listing in Blue Book.
It seems there has been some confusion and disagreement among various editors here in the Southeast as to how or whether to list conclave contingent items other than basic flaps. That, combined with the relative lack of interest in neckerchiefs until recently, may help explain why these pieces have not been listed before.
All these pieces can be viewed on the Klahican lodge page of this site.
I am unsure how to place a couple of these in the ordering. The numbers are only my best guess and are subject to change here and by the North Carolina editor.

I’m not really that sure whether the 1987 neckerchief is truly a lodge issue or just a hand alteration of the section conclave neckerchief for that year.

Is it necessarily the case that a conclave staff or conclave host neckerchief is considered a lodge issue rather than a section issue?
I’m thinking particularly of the case when the staff/host item has the design of the conclave rather than having a separate design originating from the lodge.
What about the cases where two conference/conclave neckerchiefs differ in border color–known to have been one for participants and one for staff–but without any “host” or “staff” designation in the design itself?
