Very Late NOAC Flaps, Part 3

Posted in Patch Collecting by John E. Pannell on April 27th, 2007 at 2:04 am

Here’s another very late flap, issued by Semialachee 239, for events related to last Summer’s NOAC.   I guess issuing a flap for an event more than six months after the event ended is not as unusual as I had thought!

This was probably issued before the Ahoalan Nachpikin 558 flap I previously wrote about.

Northeast Region Patch Site Updated

Posted in Scouting Blogs and Websites by John E. Pannell on April 27th, 2007 at 12:08 am

oar1.jpgDavid Scocca has recently updated his Northeast Region patches webpages after his site was highlighted in a post on Bill Mulrenin’s New York OA Trader blog.

This is an excellent resource for those who collect patches of the Northeast region.   This material is beyond the scope of this website, the Blue Book and other catalogues so it is good to see a current online resource for this.   Thanks, Dave.

Do you know of a similar website for other regions?  If so, please let me know and it may be highlighted on this blog.
