Lodge 188: 2007 Dixie Fellowship Issues
“All we are saying is, ‘Give peace a chance.’”
Returnng to the days of flower power, peace signs and minibuses, Itibapishe Iti Hollo 188 has issued two patches for the 2007 Dixie Fellowship. Apparently the lodge adopted some sort of “peace” or 1960s type theme for this year’s conclave.
Two patches were issued. One was shaped like a 1960s minibus. The other was a cut-out round.
The first patch was intended to be worn as a flap but due to its shaped I’m guessing it will be listed as an “X” The second patch will amost certainly be listed as an “R”
Blue Book style information for these issues is:
| Issue | Bdr Color/Type | Bkgd | Name | fdl/BSA | Comments | |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| R5? | BLK | C | M/C | BLK | – | Dixie 2007; cut out peace sign |
| X11? | BLK | C | M/C | BLK | LGY | fdl; Dixie 2007, shaped like mini-bus |
Both patches are already pictured on the lodge page at oaimages.com.
The number for the bus-shaped patch is very uncertain. As I do not yet have full knowledge of this lodge’s NOAC patches, the X11 label is espcially uncertain.
There is a NOAC 2004 patch set with a WHT border that is not catalogued. I’m also confused about exactly what this lodge issued for the 2006 NOAC. If anyone can help, please do so.

Uggghhh… once again, my former Lodge proves that, “Yes - there are STILL crappier patches & designs to be made…”
I’d like to know exactly (who) is advising my former Lodge, and making it the laughingstock of the nation, when it comes to true crapulence on a patch. (deleted)…GUACAMOLE - enough is ENOUGH!!! (paragraph edited by webmaster to delete ad hominem attack on lodge adviser)
Had somebody brought this piece of crap of a design to an LEC meeting back in MY day, we’d of taken ‘em out back, beaten ‘em with a pine log, staked ‘em down to an ant hill, covered ‘em in Aunt Jemima, and left ‘em for the buzzards. I can see that the more things change, the more things change for the WORSE.

[...] I recently wrote about Itibapishe Iti Hollo’s recent Dixie Fellowship issues. In that post, I had said I was uncertain of the number of one of the pieces because I was confused about recent NOAC issues from this lodge. I thought I knew the flaps well, but the odd-shaped patches left me confused. [...]
