This has been a rough few weeks for all of us. It seems getting folks together gets more diffcult as we head towards early Summer here in the Southeast. This time around, the ClothTalk guys tell us:
“We talk with John Pannell about some World Jamboree patches that are already coming out. (including issues from Egwa Tawa Dee 129, Aal-Pa-Tah 237, O-Shot-Caw 265, Talidandaganu 293, Amangamek Wipit 470, Black Eagle 482, Yokahu 506) We also speak about Tipisa Lodge 326’s new Memorial Day backpatch, And a new potential fake (S11) from Wahunsenakah Lodge 333. For more information on any of these subjects, check out John’s blog at oaimages.com. (sic)
Also this week, Ben shares his story of the final two Kaskanampo 310 patches issued before the lodge merged (the S21 and F5). Listen in for the interesting tales associated with these two final patches.”
Hey, Tim! You keep stumbling on the address for this blog and want to make it sound like an email address instead of a slighly non-standard URL. It’s “blog.oaimages.com”, no “at” anywhere in it! ![]()
My segment was recorded back on the evening of June 2nd. If I seem to contradict some emails I’ve had with some collecting acquaintances, that should explain why. …Or I could just blame the cat which was determined to use my left forearm as a combination chew toy and scratching post that evening.
I also a have a point of clarification. The Tipisa backpatch is not a Memorial Day issue. It’s their annual backpatch, matching their events issues. I simply used it on a post I made for Memorial Day because it fit so well with the reason for that observance.
I’m also still looking for World Jamboree lodge issues to put on the site. I’m sure there’s a lot out there I’m don’t have picture yet!
If you’re not a regular listener of Cloth Talk, you should become one.
