Lodge Issues Reporters Sought
One of the criticisms of this blog I hear and read is how it concentrates on OA issues from my area, the Carolinas.
Yes, I concentrate on what I know best. This not unique. Bill Mulrenin writes an excellent blog on New York OA items. Matt Kirkland covers Black Eagle lodge. I’m sure there’s other similar blogs out there that I don’t yet know about.
Once before I put out the offer for volunteers to write on this blog for the purpose of covering the issues of a lodge or group of lodges. As you might notice, I wasn’t exactly overwhelmed with volunteers. ;) So, I am extending this offer again. If you’re interested in writing on to this blog please contact me.
Out of necessity, I would retain final editorial privilege over anything that appears here. However my intent would be to allow writers to generally have a free hand in what they write, subject to the constraints of propriety. I won’t jeopardize the integrity or existence of this site by allowing non-Scoutlike or inappropriate material to appear here. There is also the possibility if there are enough volunteers, or writers are active enough, a separate subdomain of this blog could be created for them.
Here’s your chance. If you want to get out the word of your lodge’s issues, report on the patches of your area, and help improve Blue Book and this site, step forward now.

*shrug* I could cover Coosa items. I’m in the process of documenting and cataloguing all of our issues, anyway.
I’d gladly do Nentico #12.
John,
I will cover Japeechen, even if I am sometimes at odds with the Blue Book editor….
