New Nentico Lodge #12 CSP (X14)

Posted in NE-4C Lodges, Nentico 12 by Dave Scocca on July 17th, 2007 at 9:44 pm

A quick introduction: I’m Dave Scocca, and I’ve volunteered to help keep the site updated on issues from Nentico Lodge #12 in the Baltimore Area Council. I’ve been commenting on this blog for a while, and I maintain a website of patches from Baltimore Area Council including CSPs, activities, and camps.

Nentico 12 X14At the 2007 Lodge Picnic this past weekend, Nentico Lodge issued the first CSP in lodge history. The design resembles the classic white lodge flap, with red lettering and border. The Blue Book information will be:

Issue Bdr Color/ Type Bkgd Name fdl/BSA Comments
X14 Red R Wht Red Red CSP shape; “Scouting’s Honor Society”; “Founded 1922”
Nentico 12 page on OAImages.com

This item is also listed on my page of Baltimore Area Council CSPs; it will end up classified as the SA-89 if my counting is correct.

While the CSP debuted at the Lodge Picnic, there was no picnic event patch issued this year.

The local wildlife has been busy.  Last Wednesday the bird’s nest on my deck became more active when the eggs started to hatch.   I now have three very hungry hatchlings about four feet from my back door… and a cat that is very interested in getting to know them better.  I can’t really use my deck now until these hatchlings leave the nest.
