Membership Statistics Updated
It’s been a while but I have finally updated the membership statistics on this site to use 2007 membership data. I don’t know if the donor of the membership data wants to be publicly acknowledged. So thanks to the anonymous donor.
For those who are interested, the largest and smallest lodges by membership follow.
The first largest “mega lodges” are in a class by themselves:
- Amangamek Wipit 470 (4713)
- Colonneh 137 (3907)
- Tamegonit 147 (3541)
- Shawnee 51 (3480)
- Totanhan Nakaha 16 (3313)
These five are the only lodges with more than 3000 members. Mikanakawa 101 is next with 2802 members.
There are 15 lodges that report a membership of under 100. The five lodges with the least members are:
- Arawak 562 (39)
- Kaweah 379 (40)
- Toontuk 549 (42)
- Maluhia 554 (49)
- Spe-Le-Yai 249 (51)
Tahgajute 247 is the sixth smallest lodge with 58 members. Since I was not given separate data for the five lodges within the Greater New York Councils (GNYC, 1149 combined members), there could more lodges on this list of micro-lodges.
My own lodge, Tsoiotsi Tsogalii 70, is the 23rd largest with 1249 members reported.

John,
At least in recent years, both Ranachqua Lodge #4 and Man-A-Hattin Lodge #82 are the smallest of the GNYC Lodges.
I don’t know the charter numbers for them or for the other 3 GNYC Lodges: Shu Shu Gah Lodge #24, Suanhacky Lodge #49 and Aquehongian Lodge # 112.
