Legacy Interviews at TSPA Blog

Roy More has started conducting and posting a service of “Legacy Interviews” on his blog.  His first interview was with Mr. Walter Helmreich, a participant at the 1933 World Jamboree.   It is interesting to his his recollections of that event and some of the founders of the Scouting movement.

He also is willing to open up posting to other interested interviewers.   Towards that end he has published a pdf file containing Guidelines for Conducting a Scouting Legacy Interview.   This is a neat idea that I hope can take off.

In recent years, two long time Scouters I thought very highly of passed on and I regret I never was able to sit down and interview them on their Scouting and life experiences.   A lot of historical knowledge was lost with their passing.
