The year is 2004, Wauna La-Mon’Tay issues activity patches for multiple events

Ok, so I got long winded on the title but hey this was the first year that Wauna La-Mon’Tay issued patches for  two of three major events.

The first event that warranted a patch was the Rendezvous of the Order held in March.   This was a square patch with a mountain man as the main focus of the patch.   Yes, no bear  but I was told the mountain man had a bear claw necklace.

The next patch was issued for our Leadership Development Conference.   Funny thing is that no mention of the lodge or order of the arrow is on the patch.   The only thing that refers to the lodge is the bear.   The lodge invited all of the scouts in the council to this event.   We ran out of patches, so getting a dupe was very difficult.

In the past the lodge had issued multiple patches for the same event but never for multiple events.   This year marked a change in philosphy for the lodge.   The change in attitude also was written into the bylaws and has been followed ever since.
