Temporary Technical Difficulties
Posted in OAImages News by John E. Pannell on September 13th, 2007 at 12:32 am Some may have noticed that I’ve been seemingly slow to add stuff to the site lately, both images and prices. I’ve been having some technical issues that I hope will be worked out soon.
The “real world”, some other interests and a general lack of time have slowed down my work on adding images as well as dealing with the issues involving the price guide. That has been the greatest of the technical problems.
The software I use to pull eBay data, Auction Intelligence (AI), has had an issue with recent changes on eBay including some security measure they have put in place. The software has been updated, but only offers a partial and temporary fix. I can now pull data, but only partially so. There are ways to work around this and improve performance but they are more time consuming. The AI folks have been very proactive on this problem, and wonderfully patient with my badgering them.
Please bear with me if updates seem very slow and incomplete. I’m hoping this will improve soon.
