BSA Badges Recalled
Posted in Haven’t we Scouters been told for years that the BSA’s uniforms are “Made in the USA”? By extension it’s been implied that other items sold by the BSA’s Supply Division are similarly made. We know in at least some cases, that just isn’t so.
The BSA is the latest company or organization to be hit by defective Chinese made products. The BSA has issued a voluntary recall of Cub Scout instant recognition badges, the “Progress Toward Ranks” badge. The paint on the badges has unacceptably high levels of lead.
