Nonagon: Found!

Last Spring I wrote a post here on “The Geometry of Patches” in which I wrote about various patches shaped like regular polygons. In that post I lamented about not being able to find a patch shaped as a regular nine-sided polygon (aka enneagon or nonagon). Well, while working on the price guide earlier this evening I found one!
This is not a Blue Book item, as it’s a section conference patch, but still it’s something that was kind of sitting right under the noses of a few regular readers of this blog. I would have thought someone from that flat peninsular state to my south would have picked up on this before. Maybe all that tropical sun made them forget about this one.
