New Tipisa 326 Chapter patch

326-estiotee-x-2-2007.jpg Estiotee Chapter of Tipisa Lodge 326 has created a new emblem, their second version of this design (X-2).    At first glance, this will be a “whats-it?” patch for years to come.   Aside from the WWW, there are no letters.   Unless one knows that the tipi on the cap is the totem of Tipisa, and the totem of the chapter is  the turtle, its origin and  purpose would be  unknown.

California Scout Camp Burns

The California Inland Empire Council has reported the loss of their camp due to recent wildfires in southern California.

As of Tuesday morning October 23, 2007 the Running Springs fire has burned over Camp Helendade and we expect a complete loss. We are grateful that camp manager John Riley and his family are safe.
