Going to the TOR in Style

I might actually attend some TORs if I had one of these. Who wants to start the collection to buy me one?
Unfortunately I can see serious problems with it here in the US. Is it street legal? Do you need a pilot’s license to take it off the ground? What are the take off and landing requirements? Can I take off or land on my local street or do I have to be at an airport?
Lastly, will some boneheaded government employee have to scan my shoes and confiscate my shampoo before I can get in my car in the morning!?
