These 50 States: North Carolina

Baton Rouge Louisianna, Indianpolis Indiana,
and Columbus is the capital of O-hi-o.
There’s Montgomery Alabama,
south of Helena Montana
then there’s Denver Colorado,
under Boise Idaho…

Several years ago at a Pre-NOAC TOR I saw an exhibit that caught my attention.  The exhibitor was constructing a map of the United States with patches shaped like each of the 50 states.   While he could not complete the map, he was able to show most of the states in cloth.  In a similar vein, I’ve been trying to see how close I could come to making a list of the states, as portrayed on OA patches.   Rather than waiting until I have a complete list, I’m going to post these one state at a time as an ongoing series.   First up is my current home state:  North Carolina.
