These 50 States: Florida

This is the  eighth in an ongoing series of posts about state shaped patches. Previous entries have covered state shaped patches from Alabama, Kentucky,  Montana, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee and Virginia.

The Florida lodges are known for their innovative patch designs, especially when it comes to lodge activity  and chapter patches

Aal-Pa-Tah lodge is the only lodge to have issued patches in the shape of this state.     The same basic design was used many times throughout the lodge’s history.     These are listed in Blue Book as the  C2, J1,  X3, X4, X5, X7, X8, X16, ZJ1.     Some of these issues have multiple varieties.
