2007 Wauna La-Mon’Tay 442 Activity Issues
Here is the next installment in my series of activity patches from 442 Wauna La-Mon’Tay. In 2007 the lodge issued patches for their 3 major events, as they have done the previous couple of years.
The first event was our winter fellowship - the Native American Arts & Ceremonies Seminar. This patch featured a bear raising itself over a ledge. A kind of neat looking patch. This event was well attended and marked the first time that the lodge allowed a display competition (patches, scouting or Native American). It marked a turn around of several years of apathy toward collectors.
The next event was the Rendezvous of the Order. Our spring fellowship. We had a western theme thus a shield was the basis of the design. This event also serves as our awards banquet and a call out of 40 new Vigil Honor Members was conducted (makes for a long evening). The lodge actually ordered the proper amount of patches since only 25 were left over for sales.
Our last event for the year was just held. The Leadership Development Course. At this event we host the council’s junior leaders to a leadership course to prepare the for the week young leadership training in the summer. This time we used the spirit bear design as the basis for the patch and the design was great but National Supply once again did a subpar job in producing the patch. (I can tell stories on how many good designs they mess up for the lodges in Oregon and Washington).
I have provided a scan of all three patches. Enjoy.

Have two out the three… hate to not have the whole set ( need the bear) can you reply via email?
