Echockotee Lodge 200 Recent Issues
In October, Echockotee Lodge 200 served as the staff for the North Florida Council Special Needs Camporee, serving Scouts and other children involved in special educations classes. As regular readers of this blog will remember, John had referenced the patch for the 2006 event as one of the ugliest OA patches ever made. Well, some improvement hase been made.


Echockotee’s Oglala Chapter recently served as the staff for their district’s Fall Camporee, with a patch produced for their members. A total of 50 were made. They also celebrated their second consecutive win of the lodge’s “Best All Around Chapter Award”, with another patch (R-1), producing 100 of these emblems.
Onathequa Chapter served as the staff for their own district’s Camporee, and made 75 of their own patches, with a sateen background.


[...] It was also discovered this weekend that the patch made by Echockotee for staffing the 2006 “Special Needs Camporee” (previously named as one of the “ugliest OA patches ever” here and here) has a variety. A re-order of fifty patches had been made, and came back with darker green lettering, lines, and fleur-de-lis. Oddly enough, this actually made the design look worse. The Winter Fellowship was the first weekend where a comparison was made of the two orders. [...]
