Eswau Huppeday lodge, prior to 2006, had a custom of issuing a neckerchief for the lodge’s section conclave delegation. They were usually made available on a one per person basis so they were rarely traded or sold. For various and sundry reasons these have not been that well documented and some have probably been forgotten about over the years. They have never been listed in Blue Book. Some have probably just been forgotten about.

There are also a few unlisted lodge NOAC delegate neckerchiefs that have similarly escaped Blue Book listing in the past.

The neckerchiefs’ designs generally followed the lodge’s conclave themes. Unlike the 2007 pieces I previously wrote about, most of these are readily identifiable as issues of Eswau Huppeday lodge. The lone exception is the 1986 piece which is a handmade from a floral print cloth devoid of any writing or symbols.

Given the lack of attention these pieces have received from folks outside the lodge — and seemingly even by many within the lodge — I would not be surprised if additional neckerchiefs turn up, especially for the years from 1989 to 1995.

Also escaping previous mention in Blue Book or on this site are neckerchiefs for the lodge’s contingents to the 1986 and 1988 NOACs. The 1986 NOAC neckechief was issued both with and without a red piping.

Since these pieces were issued several years ago now and other neckerchiefs have since been listed, fractional numbers are needed to insert these into their proper places. This is my best guess for how these should be listed.   Blue Book data is as follows:
