Lodge 104: 2007 Winter Banquet Patches

Posted in Occoneechee 104, SR-7B Lodges by John E. Pannell on December 3rd, 2007 at 1:31 am

Occoneechee lodge held their annual Winter banquet this past Saturday night.   Two patches were issued at this event.  As usual, thanks to Greg Grimes for keeping me up to date on this lodge’s issues.

The first issue is the fourth piece of this year’s totem pole design.   The Pow Wow, Spring Inductions, and Fall Fellowship patches are the other three pieces.

The second patch for this banquet was a bit of a surprise.  It honors the service of Rodney MacDonald, who has retired as lodge adviser.   The patch was produced without him having any knowledge of its existence.   I’m told supplies of this patch were atypically tight.   The limited number of extras were sold one per person to those in attendance.   So, those lodge members and collectors who weren’t at the banquet may find this patch difficult to obtain.

Blue Book data for these two new events issues are as follows:

eX2007-5? PUR R BLK RED LBR fdl; 2007 Winter Banquet, Whozya Daddy? Rodney Mac
