Lodge 104: 1992 - 1993 Activities

Here’s some issues from the 1990s that seem to have been excluded from Blue Book. These patches from 1992 and 1993 are Occoneechee lodge’s first attempt at what some have now dubbed a “puzzle patch”. This is a group of patches that when pieced together, like a puzzle, for a unified design.
I don’t know if those who wrote the past Blue Book edits for North Carolina were unaware of this piece, just forgot it, or if it was excluded for some other reason. Regardless, thanks to Warren Kuhfeld for bringing this to my attention.
The large arrowhead, jacket patch sized, design is composed of the three main activities patches for 1992 and 1993 and a central arrowhead patch for “Camp Durant Service”. The central arrowhead is already listed in Blue Book as A1.
Althought such “puzzle patches” are not commonplace in North Carolina, some lodges such as Ag-Im 156 have been creating these regularly for over 20 years now.
Here is my best stab at what I think the Blue Book listings for these pieces should be

The Service Award arrowhead is currently listed in BB as the A-1. It was issued for service hours for the ONS ‘93 conclave that Occoneechee hosted just as the W-7,8,9,10 was issued for service hours for 2001 and more recently the S-61 for 2007…so it was not an acitivity patch.
Just as an FYI, when the lodge has auctioned this set off in the past, it is the A-1 that folks really wanted to get their hands on, and it has gone for some premium prices.
