Working on Unfinished Projects

I am very good at starting projects, but not so good at actually finishing them. OAImages is littered with things I have started but never quite finished to my satisfaction. Some are rather obvious (at least to me) and some are probably never noticed by anyone.
I have been giving some needed attention to one unfinished segment of the site over the past few days, the lodge anniversaries section on the National & Special Events Patches page.
There is no consistent way that lodge anniversaries are denoted in Blue Book. I can search for phrases like “NNth Anniversary”, but that doesn’t find everything. Even so there is still much to do. It takes a lot of busy work to manually sort through listings and add a key for each significant anniversary into the databases that power this site.
I started with 5th anniversary issues and worked upwards in five year increments. Sorry, guys. While Awaxaawe Awachia’s first anniversary or Papago’s 39 1/4th anniversary flaps might be interesting curiosities, those anniveraries are not significant enough to merit their own pages!
As you might expect it’s not finished but I am much further along than I was a week ago. There are issues for one minor anniversary (45th) and a very significant anniversary (50th) that have yet to be fully added to the database. Beyond that, there remains the tasks of adding lodge events and chapter patches issued for lodge anniversaries; finding issues not clearly identified as anniversary issues in their descriptions; and keeping up with the flood of new issues.
If you see any lodge anniversary issues not yet added to the correct anniversary page, please let me know.
