Spam, Spam, Spam, Spam

I now get about 400-500 spam email messages daily. Nearly all get filtered right into my wastebasket and never looked at. I might never see an occasional non-spam email but there’s just too much spam for me to look through it all. Sorry, folks.
Spam also hits this blog heavily. I recently passed the 7,000 spam comments here. I am noticing that these comments tend to come in clusters and wonder if spammers trying to flood the blog and my email box are partly responsible for the access problems some have been having on this site lately.
Years ago the fine comedians of Monty Python summed up well what I think of all this, “spam, spam, spam, spam…”
