Lodge 270: 2008 Dixie Fellowship

The post titles are probably looking very repetitive by now, but there’s still plenty more 2008 Dixie Fellowship issues yet to come.
Skyuka lodge was the host lodge for this year’s Dixie fellowship. Like Muscogee and Atta Kulla Kulla (post yet to come), the lodge issued an odd-shape for this year’s Dixie Delegates. However, Skyuka was unique in being the only lodge to issue a leather patch for this year’s conclave.
The design is patterned after the conclave patch issued by the section. Once again, thanks to Brad Hutto and Greg Grimes for sending images and news of this issue.

I am told that we (Skyuka) have a tradition of issuing a leather item when we are the Dixie host… That was part of the genesis behind the leather contingent item this year. Contingent members received one leather and had an option to buy 2 more.
