Lodge 188: To Support the Troops
Itibapishe Iti Hollo wants you to support the troops.
This lodge issued five patches for the 2008 Dixie Fellowship. There was the flap pictured here and four pocket patches, each depicting a branch of the US armed forces. All the patches, including the flap, were issued with a pocket loop. Thanks to Greg Grimes for sending images of these pieces.
The tank is for the US Army. The USS Alexandria represents the US Navy. A bulldog depicts the US Marine Corps. A fighter plane was used the US Air Force. As far as I know, no patch was issued for the US Coast Guard.

…So sad that the USCG was forgotten in this series as they too are an important branch of our military. All to many times they seem to be the last branch thought of. Guess I’m biased as my brother in law served in the USCG for 25 yars.
I repeatedly asked the 188 folks at Dixie, “Where’s the Coast Guard?” just to get a shrug of the shoulders. Sad they were forgotten.
