Nentego Lodge 20: Freedom Trail Chapter Tiger Sets

Posted in NE-4C Lodges, Nentego 20 by Dave Scocca on May 23rd, 2008 at 7:00 am

Bronze Tiger SetThe Freedom Trail Chapter of Nentego Lodge #20 has decided to “adopt” a tiger at their local zoo. To fund this adoption, they are issuing three two-piece sets featuring a tiger face. The flap portion has the tiger’s eyes and a ghosted arrowhead, with the lodge’s totem represented by a small blue jumping fish. The bottom part has the rest of the tiger’s face, with a large ghosted fish. The three sets are identical except for the border colors, which are bronze mylar, gold mylar, and silver mylar.

The tiger flap sets do not carry the chapter name. Both parts say “Nentego 20″ and “Del-Mar-Va”; the flaps also say “BSA”, and the pocket parts have the words “Leadership” and “Service” at the sides. At the just-concluded NE-4C Conclave, the tiger sets were available in the trading post for $10 per set; 100 of each border color were in stock. There is no particular significance to the use of the three border colors, save as a way of increasing the amount of funds raised.

The Blue Book listings for these sets will likely resemble the following. “BZM” refers to bronze mylar; I could find no applicable color code in the standard color list.

Hello and thanks for any help,

There are 2 Nentego Lodge Patches I’m looking for –

    DEL-MAR-VA - COUNCIL - NOAC 2006 -

Here’s where to see images of both patches

    and

If you know of any way to find the patches, or if you know someone who lives near the Lodge… I’m on the other side of the country, so I can’t go to the lodge and ask around myself.

Then I could buy it from you

    Thanks much for any help,
