Lodge 119: New Standard Flap
Tomo Chi-Chi lodge recently issued a new standard flap. This flap replaces their previous set of Ordeal, Brotherhood and Vigil flaps and puts the lodge in compliance with a national policy that forbids such “OBV” flaps. Thanks to Alan McDonald for this image.
The flap uses the new artistic depiction of the lodge’s totem, the Great Blue heron, in use since 2006’s “S35?”.

"Our firmest convictions are apt to be the most suspect, they mark our limitations and our bounds. Life is a petty thing unless it is moved by the indomitable urge to extend its boundaries."

John,
It has been many years since Tomo Chi-Chi has used OBV separate flaps. The last year any multiple flaps were issued was in 1999 when 3 were issued for NOAC: one for Lodge Chief, Lodge Advisor, and Adult Advisor, but OBV flaps long before that. You blog erroneosuly implies that we have been “out of compliance with National Policy.”
Thanks for all you do. Yours in Brotherhood,
Lanny G. Rhodes
