28.5 Miles Today

After some thunderstorms moved through our area   today, I was able to get in a 28.5 mile ride.   This is now my longest ride so far this year.     Even though it was very humid and we have some haze here from forest fires well to our east, it was the most cofortable ride of the past two weeks.     It was nice to go biking without have to worry about 90 degree heat.

Today’s ride was primarily a jaunt through   countryside of eastern Guilford county, between the towns of Gibsonville and McLeansville.   The route is after the break.
