Jay Dunbar recently posted this message on the Arrow-l listserv. With his permission, I am sharing it here. If interested in this book, please contact him at the email address at the end of this post.

I am pleased to announce that I now have 500 copies of the latest printing of the perennial favorite THE DRUM: A Training Aid for Ceremonial Teams, by Tischitanissohen (40 pages, illustrated: edition 10.3).

A classic underground training aid, THE DRUM has revolutionized ceremonial performance nationwide in hundreds of lodges for 30 years. Here is what one lodge advisor said about it:

“I knew understanding, rather than [merely] performance,
was the key to success, but I didn’t know where to look
for help… until I received THE DRUM. Our lodge teams
practically memorized that book, and our ceremonies
went from good to great!!!”

Unavoidably, the price has gone up, but it is still affordably priced at $6 each for single copies, $5 each for 10 or more.   Shipping is included in the price.   For maximum effect, each ceremonial team member should have their own personal copy for study and reflection.

To obtain copies, please include your lodge name and number and send a check to:

(This is not a private money-maker: profit is donated to the American Indian College Fund.   Please remind your lodge, if necessary, that photocopying THE DRUM is a violation of U.S. copyright laws as well as the Scout Law: “A Scout is Courteous…”)
