1955 Area 3E Pow Wow
The lodges of central Pennsylvania met as Area 3E for the second time on April 30 and May 1, 1955 at Bashore Scout Reservation in Jonestown. The Pow Wow was hosted by Swatara Lodge #39.
Beginning a practice that was followed in Area 3E for the next several years, attendees were given a neckerchief with an attached patch from the host lodge, but with no specific event designation. The 1955 neckerchief used the same color scheme as the standard Swatara lodge neckerchiefs; the attached patch was the cut-edge round R2c, and the neckerchief was red with a gold chain-stitched border.
There was also a program with a hand-lettered cover.
