A Pittance of Time

Pannell on November 11th, 2009 at 2:29 am On this Veterans Day, and the 91st anniversary of the end of World War, please take a few moment to remember those whose service to this country throughout the years helped to preserve and defend this nation. It’s just a pittance of time.

On this Veterans Day, there are now just three confirmed surviving Veterans of World War I. Since only one, Frank Buckles of the United States, still lives in the country he fought for 91 years ago, I do not know if any special tributes will be paid to them this year.
