About the Author
Res ipsa loquitur. Sed quid in infernos dicet?
John has lived in the Piedmont of North Carolina since 1992. Even though he is a “transplanted Yankee”, he knows the southern part of Heaven can be found in Chapel Hill and is a UNC Tarheel fan.
John was raised on Long Island. He earned the rank of Eagle Scout in Suffolk County Council and was a brotherhood member of Shinnecock Lodge #360. He became a Vigil Honor member of Tsoiotsi Tsogalii Lodge #70 in 1995. His vigil name, Papabin Achipiquon, is translated as “Flute Player”. He has completed Wood Badge and used to be a Buffalo (SR-92, 1995).
John has previously worked in the property-casualty actuarial field, but is no longer in that profession.
John was raised to the degree of Master Mason in Euclid #65 in Naperville, IL. He served briefly as Senior Steward and designed that lodge’s first webpage. For various reasons, he is currently on demit.
In December 2006 John was named Time magazine’s 2006 Person of the Year.
John is “owned” by a brown and grey tabby named Radar.
