Lodge 119: New Standard Flap

119 S39?Tomo Chi-Chi lodge recently issued a new standard flap.   This flap replaces their previous set of Ordeal, Brotherhood and Vigil flaps and puts the lodge in compliance with a national policy that forbids such “OBV” flaps.   Thanks to Alan McDonald for this image.

The flap uses the new artistic depiction of the lodge’s totem, the Great Blue heron, in use since 2006’s “S35?”.

Lodge 119: Recent Annual Meeting Patches

The activities listings of Tomo Chi-Chi lodge haven’t been updated in a few years.   Presumably this was because of a general lack of information about new issues from this lodge.    I suspected the listings were out of date but neither I nor the SC Blue Book editor had any more recent information.

It amazes me that Scouts today still look to Elvis Presley for patch design ideas.   I can remember when listening to your parents’ music was a “bad thing”.   Perhaps this is evidence of the quality of today’s artists? ;)

Lodge 119: Dixie Fellowship Service Flaps

Thanks to Alan McDonald for providing these images of two additional flaps issued by Tomo Chi-Chi lodge last Spring for the 2007 Dixie Fellowship.

Both were earned by brothers who provided significant service to the lodge.   The blue bordered flap was for 15 hours’ service.   30 hours’ service was required to earn the yellow bordered flap.
