118 Elauwit X2?For whatever reason I rarely get news of new issues from Wahissa lodge. I guess the folks in Wahissa that use this site and read this blog like having their lodge’s patches incompletely and incorrectly cataloged? (Consider that a friend and not very subtle nudge!)

Woody Woodruff brought over this new issue from Elauwit Chapter of Wahissa lodge for me to scan. Like the Croatan flap I recently wrote about, he also didn’t know when this was issued. We can only guess it came out very recently.

Lodge 118: 2007 Fall Fellowship

118 2007 Fall FellowshipWahissa lodge issued this patch for their 2007 Fall Fellowship. The oddly designed patch features a stylized American Indian head in a feathered bonnet rendered in shades of grey. Thanks to Greg Grimes and Roger Ward for letting me scan this issue.

According to what images have been sent to me, this is the first event patch this lodge issued in about two years. I know others were issued for 2007 and I expect there were other issues in 2006 and 2007 but no one has sent me scans or images of them so they remain unlisted here.

118 Minsi X5?Roger Ward and Greg Grimes made me aware of two new patches from Wahissa lodge’s Minsi chapter when they were here at my home a few days ago. As far as I know, these are the first new pieces from this chapter in several years.

Both patches have a similar design, differing only in the color scheme. The first item, pictured here, is in full color and has a red border. The second patch is an orange monochrome version of this design.

This single statement took the scientific world by storm. It completely revolutionized it. So many mathematical conferences got held in such good restaurants that many of the finest minds of a generation died of obesity and heart failure and the science of math was put back by years."

Lodge 118: Takachsin 25th Anniversary

Last Saturday, while I was eating pizza at Peppers and cheering for the Tarheels, there was a trade-o-ree in Winston-Salem. Greg Grimes sent me sent me word and images of three new patches from Takachsin chapter of Wahissa lodge.

These were issued for the chapter’s 25th anniversary, under its current name. DuWayne Amen tells us that 25 years ago the council’s districts and the lodge’s chapters changed names but the areas served remained unchanged.

Takachsin chapter has had several patches before but all previous issues were arrowheads. These are their first ovals. Blue book data for these issues are as follows:
