134 S60?Thanks to Hank Birdsong for sending me images of several recent issues from Tsali 134.  I’ll cover them here in a few posts.  

Tsali lodge issued two patches for their 70th anniversary this year, a flap and a jacket patch.   Both items have a similar design that incorporates elements from the lodge’s recent flaps as well as their first patch.

Occoneechee lodge was busy issuing patches this past weekend. In addition to the two 70th anniversary patches posted about yesterday and a fellowship patch to be detailed later, Occoneechee lodge became the second North Carolina lodge to issue a metal flap.

Occoneechee lodge will issue two more patches this weekend in honor of their 70th anniversary. Thanks to Greg Grimes for sending me the images of these pieces.

Both patches feature modern reinterpretations of classic Occoneechee patch elements. The arrows protruding from a circle and thunderbird were separately used in early lodge issues. See the lodge’s R1 through R7 for examples of these.

A bevy of new issues debuted at the 2007 Pow Wow. This included several issues for the 2007 SR-7B Conclave and three new flaps for the lodge’s 70th anniversary.

Both the jacket patch (J18?) and odd-shape (X32?) are on black velveteen. Some have already dubbed the jacket patch, the “Velvet Elvis”.

Occoneechee lodge held its 2007 Spring Pow Wow last weekend. A new event patch was issued for it.
